Wellington Airport Terminal

Wellington International Airport is the main gateway to Wellington in New Zealand.

It has a single passenger terminal located in the east part of the Airport split into three piers; the South, the Southwest and the Northwest piers. 

Levels

Wellington Airport Terminal is divided in three levels:

Ground level

This is the Arrivals Hall. The court is divided into the Domestic Arrivals and Baggage claim (on the west side) and the International Arrivals and Baggage claim (on the east side).

Find in this level ground transportation options (car rentals, shuttles, bus to the city centre, taxi, access to the parking lots).

In the core of the hall there is the baggage claim area, split into the domestic and the international baggage reclaim.

Services available: Toilets, duty free shops and lifts and escalators to access to the upper floor.

First level

The Check-in and Departures Area. Find in this level both domestic and international flights check-in booths and departures.

Once check-in is done, passengers are able to access to the Departures Hall.

Services available: Toilets, baby care rooms, showers and food & drink concessions.

Get access to the upper floor by escalators and lifts.

To access to the boarding gates, please proceed through the security check. Once cleared, get to weather the international terminal or the domestic terminal.

Services available in both domestic and international terminals: Food & drink concessions and airline lounges; The Box Seats, the International Koru Club and Qantas Club.

The first level has three piers from east to west housing the following boarding gates:

West Pier: Houses the domestic gates 3 to 12. 

Northwest Pier: Find the domestic gates 13 to 17, counting with a centralized security check.

Access to Air New Zealand Domestic lounge.

In the central pier, find the domestic gates 18, 19 and 20. 

Northeast Pier: Domestic gates 21 to 29 and the international gates 41 to 49. 

Second level

The upper level houses the Koru Lounge and a Conference Centre.

Services available: Toilets and lifts and escalators to access to the lower level.
